We at Livin’ Toned don’t exclude any food groups, we don’t focus on cardio and we have a long term approach. Quick-fix diets always result in a yo-yo effect, we want to make sure you can maintain your achieved results forever. Most people don’t like cardio and yet everyone thinks they should be sweating on the treadmill to lose fat. What if we told you that cardio is the least of our priorities. We focus on weight training instead. With weight training, you can improve your metabolism, tone your body & feel stronger. Weight training is the very thing many women avoid but the very thing that will help them reach the toned physique they desire. Yes, even if you also want to lose fat!

Before going any further, we would like to tell you a bit more about ourselves & our journey in the fitness industry.

Hi I’m Toni and I’m a certified nutrition coach and personal trainer. I have over 8 years of training experience but I also have bodybuilding competing experience. In 2018, while finishing off my studies in University, I coached myself to a 2nd place finish at a Musclemania Spain show (men's physique junior category) for the whole of europe.I have since then amassed even further knowledge on training and nutrition to be able to help thousands of people achieve their fitness and physique goals in the simplest ways possible.

Hi I’m Loewi and my passion in life is to help other women feel better about themselves. I’ve witnessed first-hand what the benefits can be of weight training, my goal is to get a barbell in all women’s hands. Besides that I also specialize in achieving long-lasting fat loss results, you won’t see me sell any quick fixes, but I can change your life forever! I can teach you how your metabolism works and how some diets will slow it down, I can also help you fix a slowed-down metabolism! In short, this stuff is my passion and I would love to share it with you.

Our journey so far…

When Toni was a 16 year old boy, he didn't feel strong or confident. He went into the gym and his journey began... 

4 years down the line, he had fallen in love with training, because apart from it being a healthy habit to pick up on, he started getting more confident, more determined and more focused. These are attributes that carried over to his day to day life.

Now at 24, he feels more confident than ever. HE feels healthy, strong and has daily workout goals to look forward to and that is what keeps him motivated.

LOEWI:
In the first picture I could barely eat 1900 calories to maintain my body, i did a lot of cardio, my knees were weak, I thought i needed to do cardio and eat a little amount of food to be ‘toned’. I also weighed around 55kgThe second picture is me now, eating 2500 calories, I weigh 61kg, have a lot more muscle mass, my weeks and ankles are very strong and I finally look toned! By eating more & building muscle.

When you go on the internet and search for ways to improve your body and health you find so much contradictory information. People are trying to sell us all kinds of stuff and magic fixes for our problems. The fact that the information is so confusing was a huge motivator for us to dive deeper and learn more about nutrition science and training. We get our information directly from scientific sources. It is our mission and passion to cut through the bullshit & myths surrounding fat loss, building muscle & health.

Seeing how weight training improved our mental & physical health, we wanted to share it with the world. And especially with women. Women are the ones targeted by these quick fix bullshit marketing schemes the most. 

We want to help women stay grounded and focus on the things that will really work. Diet culture has women (from a very young age) believing they should not eat carbs, they need detox teas, they need waist trainers, they need to look a certain way and dress a certain way, that they need to focus on cardio & HIIT workouts to reach their goal. This isn’t only false, it’s often very unhealthy. Many women go through life eating too little and training the wrong way. Everyone is always giving their 2 cents about women and their bodies. We just want women to know they have better, more attainable and sustainable options that are actually healthy and that actually work.
